Sale or Lease
Kalypso is perfect for eventing, A-level jumpers or dressage; however, he could easily be competitive in the H/J arena. Over the last 2 years, Kalypso has competed in Eventing up to Training Level (now schooling Prelim) & in Show Jumping to 3’ 6” with his junior rider. He’s done Pony Club up to the B level & been in numerous rallies & ratings. He has solid 1st level dressage skills & is schooling 2nd level (leg yields, counter canter, lengthening trot). Dressage judges love his beautiful gaits.Kalypso is a registered Hanoverian (AHS #0337795-99) with TB bloodlines; His sire was an elite AHS stallion & his dam’s sire was a Grand Prix show jumper. Kalypso trailers well, does not have any stable vices and is very healthy and sound. He has tons of personality & is very cute, but still elegant in the show ring.
Kalypso needs an advanced, experienced rider to achieve his full potential, but beginning/intermediate riders can safely ride him. Kalypso is most suited for a confident, ambitious teen or adult rider who wants a horse with unlimited competitive potential, but who doesn’t have an unlimited budget. Our priority is the right type of situation and a good, caring home. Kalypso is available August 1st, when his rider leaves for college.
